I'm glad you had some time to relax a little bit, with your crazy schedule! The kids and I are only into the third disc of Mockingjay, so I cannot offer an opinion (except that it is a little slow right now). I know some hated it and some loved it. I am guessing we will be somewhere in between.

I do read quite a mix of genres, but I'd always dismissed The Time Traveler's Wife which I read last month as "not my sort of thing". Just shows how wrong you can be, I really enjoyed it!

Both Mr. Peanut and Bad Marie (which I enjoyed your review of) sound interesting. I'll have to get hold of them.

Okay, you hated Mockingjay?? I'm so relieved...b/c I am struggling to get through it...and I feel guilty b/c I loved the other two so much! I know I need to finish it, but I just have no desire. It's a struggle....

I need to mix up my reading by genre more, it's never really occurred to me to do so because I don/'t mind reading the same genre back to back, but it's not good for general motivation. My favourite book last month was Second Hand Heart and this month I'm looking forward to a Marie Antoinette biography.
