Raid My Bookshelf & Support the Red Cross

March is Red Cross Month, and author Holly Tucker (Bloodwork, W.W. Norton, 2011) has joined forces with writers, agents, bloggers, publishers, and independent bookstores (including my own home-away-from-home Fountain Bookstore, holla!) to create a month-long celebration fundraiser, Writers for the Red Cross.

The online auction raised over $2,000 in the first week, and there are more fabulous items to come. Up for grabs this week is a mystery bag of ten books (finished books, folks, not galleys) from The Book Lady mailroom. Many of these are hardcovers, and they are all unread and in excellent condition. I’m thrilled to be involved with this group, and I hope you’ll go bid on my mystery bag or some of the other awesome items and services available this week.

A percentage of the proceeds will go to the host chapter (Nashville Area Red Cross), and all remaining funds will be donated to the American Red Cross Disaster Relief Fund. Learn more about Writers for the Red Cross here.
