Giveaway: 16 x 20 Canvas Print from UPrinting.com
2010 at 8am Posted by Rebecca Joines Schinsky
Several months ago, I won a giveaway at Dawn’s blog for business cards from UPrinting.com. They turned out beautifully, and I’m happy to announced today that I’ve entered into a blog sponsorship program with UPrinting.com so that I’ll be able to offer giveaways for customer printed products like the business cards I recently won and the canvas prints you see in the image above. I’ll also receive products for review and will display a UPrinting.com badge and link in my sidebar.
I entered into this partnership because I know that I love custom-printed material, and the possibilities for we bookish folk are virtually limitless—business cards (for BEA and Book Blogger Con!), bookmarks, custom bookplates, and more—and I’m excited to extend the opportunity to win custom-printed giveaways to my readers.
Now that the businessy stuff is out of the way, let’s get to the goodies!
One lucky reader will win a 16 x 20 canvas art print of a photo of his or her choice. So those vacation photos you’ve been wanting to frame or that adorable picture of your dog that you’re looking for an excuse to display in your home? Picture them large. Here are the deets:
- One randomly selected winner will receive a 16 x 20 rolled canvas print
- Free UPS Ground shipping in the USA
- You must be 18 years old in order to enter.
To enter this giveaway, leave a comment here about the photo you will choose if you win the giveaway and what you’ll do with it (display it in your home, give it as a gift, etc.). I’ll be receiving a canvas print of my own for hosting the giveaway, and I’m thinking about putting this (our tulips in full bloom last spring) on the freshly-painted bright green wall in my bathroom.
The canvas print giveaway is limited to US shipping addresses only and will be open until midnight EST on Friday, May 7, 2010. The randomly selected winner will be announced Monday, May 1oth.
Good luck!

I am going to use this printed canvas to make a picture of my brother licking a plunger.
It was a clean plunger that he had just purchased and he was only doing it to gross me out, but its a picture of him licking a plunger all the same.
Last year I used that picture to announce his birthday on all the local news stations.
He paid me back with picture of himself in a feather boa printed on a number of t-shirts.
I think a 16×20 Canvas would be an excellent gift for his birthday this year.
That is hilarious. Good luck to ya!
I would get my favorite wedding photo (my husband and I peeking into the card catalog while drinking champagne–we got married at a library, of course). We didn’t hire a photographer, but I’d love to have our fun wedding photo be larger than life itself!
Hey, we got married in a library too! We should do a joint post about that sometime. Would LOVE to see this photo.
I always wish I could get my schedule in order to make it to a framing store or print shop to get my kids art hangable. But I just keep amassing art and they are getn older n older. Winning this draw would be awesome and so my first step!
I would like to get a print of my son to hang in his room.
I would get a picture of my 3 yr. old daughter sleeping, looking like she is eating her favorite book “That Rabbit Belongs to Emily Brown”…
I would get our family picture done and send it to my parents back home.
A photo of our vacation in Mexico.
I think this is a great giveaway.
I have a few black and white photos that I developed myself, from inside a dilapidated bed and breakfast. The one I would choose for the canvas print is of the underside of a broken spiral staircase from that building – you can see the underboards, graffiti, and missing portions of the railing as it twists away from you. Its a haunting photo and would look amazing at the top of of my own staircase!
I’d probably print one of my macro flower shots, but which one is anyone’s guess.
I’d print Endymion & Selene by Sebastiano Ricci, as it is one of my favourite paintings in the world, to go in my first apartment. Eek!
I have a pic of my three kids from 14 years ago. They were sitting at an angle to the camera, one in front of the other. The boys are smiling but my daughter, who was only a year and a half old had not been happy. Then the photographer blew bubbles. In the pic, she is reaching for the bubble with her mouth open and the tears in her eyes making her eyes shine. My mom always said it looks like they are singing and called them “Hannah and the Pips” ala Gladys Knight and the Pips.
There’s an incredible picture of my daughter laying on my chest at 7weeks old. It’s a reminder of such a precious moment. I’d definitely love to have that picture as a canvas
If I win I would choose a photo of my beautiful newborn baby Mila to put in our family room. She is such a *jem.* I hope I win!
We finally got the entire family together for a family photo. I would love to make it into a canvas for my parents.
Ahhh… my mother’s lily garden – for my mom!
My parents picture from their 25th anniversary party and give it to them
.
What a wonderful giveaway! I would love to make a canvas of either one of our favorite wedding pictures, a landscape from our honeymoon, or waterfalls that we saw at Yellowstone.
My brother and sister-in-law recently came home on furlough from their missionary work in Tanzania for the birth of their first baby. My nephew (the first grandchild in my family) is absolutely beautiful… I may be a bit biased, but really — he is! They have some good friends from college who took some awesome photographs of them & the baby. One in particular is of the three of them, sitting lined up on a couch staring solemn-faced at the camera. Baby Jude (at two weeks old) is perhaps the funniest, sitting there a la American Gothic. I’m pretty sure a large canvas print of this photo would ease my missing him after they return to Tanzania on Friday!
A friend of mine took a spectacular shot of swans on the river in Prague – http://www.flickr.com/photos/lyndsey_matthews/4294778594/ – that I am hoping she would allow me to blow up and print to hang in my new house! Moving to a much larger place in a few months, so I’ll definitely need some new decorations… in addition to new bookshelves.
I would probably choose one of my London shots from last spring and frame that puppy for my office! It’d be a lovely addition to the serious Anglophilia going on in here. Or I’d pick one of my recent cherry blossom photos from D.C. — pink! And more pink!
Definitely a shot of the barn in our backyard in Virginia – for me to remember when I move up to Jersey next year!
We’ve been working on our Family Mission Statement. I want to design and format them and then have them printed. We’d hang them in our hallway.
I would get the picture I took of the Bean in chicago. It is such a neat looking piece of art with the Chicago skyline reflected in it
I would love to have a picture of our 2 rabbits enlarged to put on the wall. We have so many blank spaces!
[...] currently running a giveaway for a 16 x 20 canvas art print, and you have until this Friday to enter. I can’t wait to see some of the wedding pictures [...]
I would print a shot I took in Co. Kerry while on vacation last summer – it is a beautiful shot of the Gap of Dunloe with the sun coming through the mountains and hitting a stream at just the right angle (pure luck!) There is a spot over my couch that would be perfect!
Thanks for hosting this one!
Kudos to you for the partnership!
It will, of course, be one of my daughter (as if we take photos of anything else!). I haven’t printed any in a while, but one in particular is standing out as a big candidate. It’s one of her at the park playing in the sand with a perfectly cast shadow behind her. I’m no photographer, but every once in a while one of the thousands of photos I take captures something really special
I am a bit torn. I have been on so many wonderful trips through Lewis & Clark country, and I also just moved into a new cubicle at work. It would be wonderful to get a print of one of the photographs we have taken and be able to look at it all day and dream about paddling away on that beautiful river.
On the other hand, I would love to get a print made of our beautiful Harlequin bunny Junebug. She is so playful and photogenic, and we have some “personality plus” closeups of her face peeking out of a how hollow tree — really! That would be a wonderful keepsake of a delightful friend.
Great giveaway!
I would use this to print one of the many beautiful pictures I’ve taken while in Europe. I have a beautiful picture of the Eiffel Tower that would look great in the guest room!
