Presenting the #Pantyworthy Readathon Mini-Challenge
2010 at 1pm Posted by Rebecca Joines Schinsky
This challenge runs from 2pm to 5pm Eastern time (Hours 7-9 of the 24 Hour Read-A-Thon)
What? You thought I’d let a week go by without some discussion of my desire to toss my panties at deserving authors? (If you’re new around these parts, this post will explain it all….and hopefully make me seem at least a little bit less crazy.)
Anywho, you’re now entering the seventh hour of the readathon (way to go you! I hope you’re having fun while I’m wrestling the world’s ugliest wallpaper off my bathroom walls), and your eyes probably aren’t bleeding yet, but I’m willing to bet you could use a break.
So let’s do this. You go write a blog post related to this wacky pantyworthy concept. It could be an explanation of what makes an author pantyworthy (or boxerworthy—we know men love authors, too), a list of your favorite pantyworthy authors, a discussion of the most pantyworthy book you’ve ever read, the plan for how you would approach a pantyworthy author and offer up said underpants, a list pairing authors with the types of panties that would be most appropriate for throwing at them. Whatever.
Have fun with it. Let your crazy out. Bonus points (metaphorically speaking) for adding visual aids.
Then scurry back here, leave a link in the comments, and start hoping you’ll be the randomly selected winner of a $25 gift card to the book or underwear retailer of your choice.
And a word of warning (or encouragement…take it as you will): if anyone is bored (or bold) enough to take their own pantyworthy photo & post it, that person will automatically win. Just sayin’.
Because reading is sexy.
Now have at it!
This mini-challenge is now closed. Thank you to all of the participants! Your entries are fantastic.

ok, girl, you’ve done — you’ve made reading very very sexy!
LOL! Wish I were feeling creative … but I am so … not.
Hey, I’ve got kids in the mix here! And I’m not feeling all that inspired OR creative at this point. Have to give this some more thought…
I hope you enjoy the things we do for challenges!

This one was fun! I could probably have been more entertaining if I took more time to think and write about it, but I really want to move on to my next book.
My post is here.
Hi!
This is a wonderful challenge. I’ve posted mine at my place, Just Books. Have a great day!
