My favorite traditional Christmas song is "I Heard the Bells on Christmas Day," especially after I found out how Longfellow wrote the poem after he suffered a disillusioning series of tragedies. It's the story of regaining one's faith, a wonderful song.

My favorite modern Christmas song in recent years has been Elvis's "Holly Leaves and Christmas Trees." I guess I've been in a wistful mood. But I still like Frosty and Rudolph too!

Thanks for joining in the confessions! (But I have to break it to you that Donnie was the hottest....then again, I've always had a thing for the bad boys.)

And no need to be embarrassed about Hangin' Tough...I have the NKOTB greatest hits on my iPod....and I know the original dance to The Right Stuff.

First of all, Jordan was totally my favorite so it's nice seeing him back in his prime with nothing on under the jacket. In a confession I may regret as soon as I post this, I'll let you know that "Hangin Tough" is currently and always will be on my ipod.

Second, and so much less embarrassing, Christmas at my house starts the day after Thanksgiving with the collector's edition Elvis Christmas cd, complete with a pop-up Graceland proudly displayed on the mantle. Also, after having danced in it five times, I can't have Christmas without music from the Nutcracker.

PS, just want to say in case I never have that I love your blog. :)

I'm sure I did. My 8th birthday part was NKOTB-themed. Sad, but true.

It's kind of hard to hear the song over all of the girlish screams. Did you squeal like that, too?

Wait! They're missing one? Where was Jordan's brother, what's his name? Crap...I'm a horrible Bostonian not knowing.

I think my favorite Christmas music is The Nutcracker Suite. It's dorky I know but I just love it.

Happy holidays!

Are you kidding? I not only knew all of their names, I had the dolls! (Donnie used to get naked with Barbie, but that's a secret.)
