What a great teacher! I remember a few teachers that I had that went the extra mile like that, and they really do make a huge difference in students’ lives.

While reading your story about the teacher’s phone calls, I totally got goosebumps! Reading is amazing — and such a fantastic way to bring people together. Though I know how many awesome educators are out there, it still warms my little heart to hear stories like this!

I’ve passed this book numerous times, especially when I worked at the bookstore, but I never once stopped to pick it up. I can see that’s definitely going to change. And I’ll be crying big crocodile tears too, I’m sure!
