Win a signed copy of Waiting for Columbus
2009 at 8am Posted by Rebecca Joines Schinsky
Remember several weeks ago when I raved about this amazing book and called it “one phenomenal mindf#@k of a novel” and then tweeted myself silly (and forced it on friends, customers, clients, and a few perfect strangers) trying to convince other people to check it out?
Well, now, thanks to a generous offer from the author Thomas Trofimuk (who guest blogged here a few weeks ago), I have 2 signed copies to give away.
But wait, there’s more.
These are the very first U.S. editions of the book Mr. Trofimuk has signed.
(He’s Canadian and has been focusing his book touring efforts there.)
So, if you’d like to win a signed copy of Waiting for Columbus, which will undoubtedly be one of my favorite books of the year (and, very probably, the decade), just leave a comment here. Tweet or blog about the giveaway for an additional entry. (Be sure to come back and leave a link to your blog post, and include @bookladysblog in your tweet.)
The giveaway will be open until Friday, November 13th at 11:59pm Eastern time. Open to residents of the U.S. and Canada only.
The giveaway is now closed.
No related posts.

Oh, please enter me for this one! Great giveaway.

Oh my goodness, yes please! Your original review convinced me to add it to my wishlist, so I’d love the chance to win a copy!
I don’t have one but I really want one but it seems like asking for one would be somehow unfair all things considering! So, no official entry from me!
I’m in the same camp as you regarding WAITING FOR COLUMBUS, in that it is not only one of my favorite books ever, but I’ve been something of a WFC pimp, pushing it on friends, family and strangers alike!
And yes, I DID dress up as Queen Isabella for Halloween and got DH to dress up as Columbus too! We participated in the local Halloween parade. We tried to get my 6yo to dress up as a court page carrying a model of the three ships (I decided against her dressing up as one of the little girls in the book… ) but she insisted in being a cheetah. Oh well!
Follow-Up: I tweeted this giveaway. You hadn’t set up a tweet yet so I couldn’t Re-Tweet it; but is that “bad form?” If it is, I’m sorry and I’ll delete it and wait for you to Tweet it…
Sounds fantastic!
Oh, I MUST be in on this one. Anyone that describes a book as a mindf**k has got my attention, and the book went promptly down on my wish list. Not to mention the author was just plain cool. rnawrot at cfl dot rr dot com
