I attended my first reading this last year as an assignment for a fiction writing class I was taking. But reading this post makes me definitely want to keep my eye out for whatever authors visit bookstores in my area. I loved Russo's response to your question, if I ever make it as a writer, I want to have that kind of confidence in my work (because lets face it, not everyone will love what you write no matter how brilliant it might be!).
