I might have to pick up a copy after reading this sorta review. This book is one that I would have likely picked up based on the cover alone.

I just don't get it! This book started a little slow for me then picked up then was soooo slow I skipped to the end. And of course had to skip back and keep going. But I don't get what happened.....were Jessica (person in charge of cemetary) and her husband (or anyone else!) ghosts? Why did he carry the revived dead person to their house? It was not clear what kind of help they needed. And was HE a ghost and that is why he left at the end, with no word?

I am rather well read and pretty well schooled but I just did not understand what happened at the very end there. I am surprised I am the only one apparently because I can't find any help online!

Thank you Rebecca for your insights of the book. I was thinking of getting "Her Fearful Symmetry" after just finishing TTTW. Now I can get it without hesitation the next time at a book store.

Hi All, Asking for a *Spoiler* answer

I just finished reading HFS this morning and I'm confused. Who was actually the twins bio-mom? The real Edie called "Elspeth" who died at the beginning right? I'm confused about that part. I know they switched and Jack new he was living with the real Elspeth called "Edie" because he knew she was afraid to fly. So, when the twins mom Edie went back to London when the twins were 4 months old she stayed and called herself Elspeth? And then the real Elspeth went home with the twins back to the states and acted like she was married to Jack and basically raised her nieces.?
Thanks for all your help,
Esmee

I just finished Her Fearful Symmetry and I loved it but I must add that I also enjoyed TTTW just as much. I think A.N. does a terrific job of developing her characters and that is one of the forces that compels me to keep reading. I like the fact that she writes about different types of relationships and problems that are somewhat unusual in fiction (OCD, death, twin relationships...). I will definitely recommend this book to my friends who are readers.l
