*hint* I have an awesome giveaway tonight *hint*
2009 at 6pm Posted by Rebecca Joines Schinsky
Remember back in high school when the bell would ring and you’d start packing up your things and have one foot out the door and the teacher would say something like “We may or may not have a quiz on this tomorrow….just something to consider”?
Well, this is the blog giveaway version of that.
If you’re like me, you’re excited (or, at the very least, interested to see how it turns out) about a certain upcoming movie adaptation of a certain well-loved book about a certain man who has a problem with chronology by a certain author whose next book I’m currently reading.
You know what I’m talking about, right?
Just in case you’ve been living under a rock lately, here’s a hint:

Got it now?
Well, I may or may not have 20 pairs of tickets to a private screening in DC (courtesy of the good folks at Warner Brothers, who seem to think the Book Lady is pretty cool), and I may or may not be planning to give them away on Twitter (follow me here) around 10pm Eastern tonight.
Take that for what you will. I’m just sayin’.

Eep! My book club was just talking about this the other night! I’ll be on twitter at 10!
(hypothetical) Wow, so (potentially) exciting!
But I (truly) wish I lived in the area … yay for all you who have the opportunity for this pop quiz!
I’m so bummed! We are in California until the day of the Chicago screening. We don’t get back until 2 pm and we’re flying into Milwaukee. With luggage and driving, it will probably be close to 4 pm. Trying to calm baby, make sure there’s milk for daddy to give him, and get downtown for the screening by 7 or 8 pm is probably not feasible.
That’s a bummer! You were the first Chicago blogger that came to mind when they asked me….hope you know someone else to refer. (I’ll be at a Richard Russo book signing I’ve been planning on for a couple months now on the night of the DC screening, so don’t feel too bad
)
This Calif girl can’t play but good luck to all
Very jealous of D.C. people right now! But what a great opportunity for them!
How can I get tickets for the screening in DC. Would love to go.
AH! I wish I hadn’t been at work at 10! Major bummer!
*hint* I’ve already read TTW and *hint* I don’t live anywhere near DC but *hint* I loved this post.
I would love, love to win this, but I’m not anywhere near the area. Great giveaway. I’m hoping to see the movie opening night, but I’m not sure if my husband will make it because I’m seeing it with or without him. The trailer looks amazing!
I would love to see this movie. Looks like a very good film. I would be taking my lovely fiance to the movie, we are set to get married in a little over a month.
