It totally depends on the book, Fred. I personally prefer to read rather than listen, but The Strain was great on audio, and I’ve heard wonderful things about the Harry Potter audiobooks and those for The Help and The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society, amongst others.

Thanks for the review of The Strain. I’ve read both positive and negative review of the book, so I’ve been waiting to hear what more people think before taking the plunge. You’ve also raised an interesting topic: Is a book is better reading it or listening to it? I supposed that’s a topic for another discussion!
