Teaser Tuesdays: The Little Book
2009 at 8am Posted by Rebecca Joines Schinsky
Teaser Tuesdays is a weekly bookish meme, hosted by MizB of Should Be Reading. Anyone can play along! Just do the following:
- Grab your current read
- Open to a random page
- Share two (2) “teaser” sentences from somewhere on that page
- BE CAREFUL NOT TO INCLUDE SPOILERS! (make sure that what you share doesn’t give too much away! You don’t want to ruin the book for others!)
- Share the title & author, too, so that other TT participants can add the book to their TBR Lists if they like your teasers!

I’m currently about 150 pages into Selden Edwards’s debut novel The Little Book (click cover in right sidebar for details). From page 14:
He had felt for just an instant the connectedness of all things.
It was, you would have to say, a life-altering moment. Wheeler’s was going to be no ordinary journey.
What are you reading this week?

I wonder what kind of journey it will turn out to be.
My teaser from The Time Traveler’s Wife has time travel as a theme too… I didn’t think of the LOST connection (even though I love the show). If I get on a real time-travel kick, I might have to check out The Blue Notebook. Thanks for the tease.
The Little Book is about time travel….The Blue Notebook, not so much. Just to clarify. Wouldn’t want you to pick up one expecting the other. They are very different.
Fun teaser and cover! Look forward to hearing what you think.
Hmmm – a stand-in for Lost? Not a bad idea :0) Will certainly need a fix to get me through to next year.
Time travel? Very intriguing teaser. I’ve heard a lot about this book. I’ll be interested in your review.
I have this on my shelf, and I love time travel books so I can’t wait to get to this.
I’m watching lost right now–the show doesn’t make any sense! I hope this book does. read my teaser here
That’s a good one! I am not familiar with this book – I look forward to the review.
My teaser is here.
