I'm dreaming of Cadbury Cream Eggs…

and Reese’s Peanut Butter Eggs and speckled-egg-like malted milk balls and hard boiled eggs and any other chocolatey delicious Easter candy the good bunny sees fit to send my way.
And I’m looking forward to hanging out with my sister and her fiance in Raleigh, and a whole slew of hubby’s relatives in Chapel Hill, and seeing 6 of my 7 nieces & nephews. Easter egg hunts, snuggle time, good food. What’s not to love?
But the thing I’m most looking forward to?
That’s right. Steak ‘n Shake. I’ve been craving their perfect shoe-string fries and old-fashioned cherry coke for so long I can practically taste them. We don’t have one in Richmond, so it’s a special treat to find a Steak ‘n Shake when we go out of town. I’m pre-scheduling this post, so by the time you read it, I may already be in Steak ‘n Shake induced bliss. Or napping. Or a blissful Steak ‘n Shake induced nap. It’s possible. And you know I dare to dream big.
Tomorrow will be packed with family activities and the road trip back to Richmond, so I likely won’t make it in for the Sunday Salon. Hope you all have a fabulous weekend, however you’re spending it.

I hope you get your Steak ‘n Shake induced nap! I must say the place sounds pretty interesting.
Today we are coloring eggs, hiding and finding eggs and then my daughter and I plan to hit the new Hannah Montana movie. My husband took my son to the Fast and Furious last night. Total guy film.
Tomorrow, just cooking a nice meal. I never get to cook anymore so it’s a rarity for sure.

My favorite candy is the speckled malt eggs — and I am fairly certain that the Easter bunny will be bringing some of those.

I hope you enjoy your Steak ‘n Shake! I love the Reese’s peanut butter eggs also. Once my mother hid a 12-pack in advance of Easter and my sister and I found them and decimated the pack. I think if my mother had thought of putting coal in our baskets that year she would have! :–)

OMG I miss Steak and Shake. There was one very near my apartment in college and I used to go at least twice a week.
