Boy soldiers in today's war…

When I saw this piece on the Today Show this morning, I couldn’t help but think about A Long Way Gone and Ishmael Beah’s story and all of the pain and trauma this young boy (and, doubtless, the hundreds or thousands like him) must be facing.
This is evidence that people like Beah need to tell their stories, and we need to provide them with an forum to do so. It is unpleasant, but we need to be aware of all that is going on in our world so we can contribute whatever we can to the solution.
