That’s my dad, describing his 2-year-old basset hound Maggie on our evening walk.

Needless to say, Maggie never really took to the whole training thing.  But how can you care when she’s so freaking cute?

    I see what you mean. Who could get mad at that face? I love basset hounds… they always look like they have their own agenda.

    oh my gosh, she is so cute! my next door neighbor has a basset hound and i have become obsessed with him. i really want one. jordan wants a dog that “doesn’t look like it just stopped crying.”

    She sounds like my dog! Except my dog is a 75-pound Lab/Chow Chow mix. She’s been this way for ten years too, so I don’t think training is going to do much at this point.

    Awww Maggie is gorgeous! I love bassets, well I love hound-dogs in general. Their expressions don’t seem to change much at first glance but their eyes are so full of character and attitude.

    I have two bassets my self!! You truly can’t be mad at them for more than a minute!! They are perfect dogs!! If you wanna play then they will play with you, but if you wanna nap they will have no problem doing that!! they will curl up on ur lap and quickly fall asleep!! There are soo coute!! Maggie looks just like my dog Bandit, he is tri-colored too!!
