The Sunday Salon 3.15.09

tssbadge1 This Sunday evening finds me wondering where the weekend went. Yesterday was a flurry of activity followed by an evening at a charity casino night event (ever notice how you win more win the money’s not real?), and today has been delightfully lazy but seems to have flown by anyway.  To capture as much couch time as possible, I’ll be keeping this short and sweet.

Two book reviews this week: The Brightest Moon of the Century by Christopher Meeks (loved it!) and Her Last Death by Susanna Sonnenberg (crazy but good…and I only cracked the surface of the craziness in my review).

I also had six days of great quotes for Weekly Geeks, an interview with Christopher Meeks, and a BTT discussion about book-to-movie adaptations.

I’ve spent part of this afternoon with Captain Freedom, which is quite entertaining thus far, and I’m be spending the rest of the evening alternating reading with watching episodes of It’s Always Sunny in Philadelphia on DVD with hubby…at least until Big Love and Breaking Bad come on in a few hours.

For now, it’s time for chili—probably the last batch of winter—and some quality laziness.  What have you been up to today?
