I’m planning on reading The Hotel at the Corner of Bitter and Sweet this month. As for today: errands, and then out to dinner with friends as today is my husband’s birthday.

As for our day, Saturday we bought a guest bed (finally). My parents just decided to come visit next month, so we had to hurry up and get a place for them to sleep. We also had a laundry marathon. Today was my birthday, and we have a very food-centric day. It was wonderful: wheat waffles with blueberries and Early Grey tea for breakfast, a traditional European breakfast as our lunch with some coffee and a mimosa, cake mid-day (made by John!) and for dinner, we drove an hour away to the Chili’s on Ramstein Air Base.
