New Blogger Awards!

Kathy from Bermuda Onion awarded me this Kreativ Blogger thingy for Most Eclectic Blogger. That makes me a very happy Book Lady, and I’m glad the award came from Kathy, who has a very nice blog herself and who always leaves great comments. I have to identify six values that are important to me and six things I don’t support, and then I’m supposed to tag 6 bloggers.
Six values that are important to me:
- integrity/honesty
- compassion
- making one’s actions consistent with one’s professed beliefs and values
- a good sense of humor
- thoughtfulness
- working hard to do your job well, whatever it may be
Six things I do not support:
- capital punishment
- dishonesty
- laughter at someone else’s expense
- violence
- blind support of causes or belief systems
- bad grammar
Alyce of At Home With Books gave me this grammatically incorrect Butterfly Award, which makes me giggle.
The rules for passing on the award are:
1. Put the logo on your blog.
2. Add a link to the person who awarded you.
3. Award up to ten other blogs.
4. Add links to those blogs on yours.
5. Leave a message for your awardees on their blogs.
Since I’ve been delinquent in responding to both of these awards, I know that many of my favorites have already been nominated. I’m going to name just a few more here…who knows, maybe they’ve been nominated, too. At any rate, I’m happy to have so many great blogs to read, and I hope you’ll enjoy these:
