Sounds like a great weekend. I too spent it more or less relaxing and reading the book 'Things fall apart'.

I joined that 100+ challenge myself. It's doable. I mean, all books count and if I counted all the books I read, it would be well over 100 for sure.

I didn't think much of The Women but the original is much better. I also did not care for Baby Mama. I thought the best parts were shown in the trailer.

If you haven't seen No Reservations with Catherine Zeta Jones, please do so. LOL. I had that movie from Netflix for well over 4 months, no joke and finally sat down to watch it and it was so sweet!

I have to go back to work on Tuesday so I am slowly moving towards my normal routine now.

I was reading this in my Google Reader and I had to come to the site to recommend the original version of "The Women". I see that Michele beat me to it!

The original is my favorite movie ever. The snappy 1930s dialogue cannot be improved upon, in my opinion. Rather than the updated version with Meg Ryan, I would like to see the 2001 stage revival with Cynthia Nixon come to DVD. It aired on PBS once for a fundraiser and it was fab!

Good luck in your goal this year. You can do it. You can always squeeze in some itsy-bitsy ones if time draws short. :-)

I watch The Women last night and it's just "OK"! Today, we went grocery shopping and we are now cooking good stuff. I'm trying to read Vanity Fair written by Thackeray between two receipes since I want to read more classics in 2009. My goal is also to read more than 100 books as I did the last two years... so we're gonna have to keep going and going...
