(It's San Francisco...everyone has their coffee at the cafes). Then I'll slip in some reading time when no students come for office hour. I'll read a bit more at home in the evening since I don't watch much TV. I do try to work it in, but with months like this one, it just doesn't happen. I actually told myself the other day that one month without it will not kill me but I still find myself carting all my reads to work (just in case). My husband is NOT a reader at all so I always feel as if he is some abandoned puppy when my nose is buried in a book. My kids will see me reading and then pick up a book but not him.
