Take The Longest Trip Home
2008 at 12pm Posted by Rebecca Joines Schinsky
I don’t usually post reminders about new books that are coming out because I figure that if you read my review and/or hear about the book elsewhere and are interested, you’ll make some kind of mental note to add it to the TBRs or pick it up on your next trip to the bookstore. But I’m going to make an exception today and remind you all that John Grogan’s memoir, The Longest Trip Home, was released today, and I think you should read it.
I think everyone should read it. It was that good. Plus, it will make an excellent holiday gift, or a recommendation for that infrequent reader who asks you to suggest a few books at next week’s dinner party, or just a nice way to treat yourself to an enjoyable read on a cool fall evening.

Congrats to Melissa at Shhh I’m Reading—she won my extra ARC of this fantastic new book.

I totally agree with you about that book – it is fabulous.
Nice, I wrote it down already
I’m more than halfway through now — loving it!
I’m definitely moving this to the top my list
The NYT had a review Sunday, too.
I see you’re reading the new Julia Glass – I just ordered it. She’s one of those authors I’m collecting
