September Reading Wrap-Up
2008 at 12pm Posted by Rebecca Joines Schinsky
It’s been a really busy month, and things are only getting busier in Book Lady Land as I gear up for a month full of fundraisers, in-store events, and pre-holiday craziness. Here’s what I read this month. Click on the cover to read my review (except for Bridge of Sighs, which was simply too wonderful for words).
It’s hard to choose favorites this month, so I have 3-way tie between Bridge of Sighs, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, and Letter to My Daughter.
The Giver was one of my Banned Books Week spotlights, and it was a pleasure to re-read it and to remember exactly what makes it so amazing. I’ve also featured (but not re-read or fully reviewed) The Perks of Being a Wallflower, And Tango Makes Three, Catch-22, and The Things They Carried.
Don’t forget to enter my giveaway to win a personalized, autographed copy of Matrimony by Joshua Henkin.
What was your best read this month?

Ahh! Don’t ask that question, I’m trying to answer it for my own post and I’m not sure yet.
The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins without a doubt. If you missed my review, read it here.
Off-topic: Hello! I’ve named your blog as one of my seven favorites, in the Tag «I (Heart) Your Blog»!
(Sorry, my blog is in French! To participate, you simply have to name your seven favorite blogs and tell their authors about it… You can copy/paste the tag logo on my blog.)
By the way, my best read in September was World Without End by Ken Follett.
It was a really good reading month, but best read would either be Origin or Edgar Sawtelle (despite the Oprah involvement).
