I was standing in the tent for Rushdie and it was a really good talk. I had a great time sweating my ass off and I finally posted about it last night. I got to meet Philippa Gregory and that was all I really wanted in the end. It was great, even though I was a pool of sweat in the picture - after purposefully getting my hair done on Thursday so that I would look my best for the event - HAR! I'm glad you enjoyed the Library of Congress. I've never been and I'm sure that it's a must see. I’m so sad that we didn’t get to run into each other. I took my son there about a year ago, and after touring the whole place (even the marble bathrooms) I asked him what he thought. He said, "Too much marble mom!"
