That is so awesome about Christopher Meeks joining LT! I'm reading Months and Seasons right now! I'll definitely look him up. I also enjoyed your meme. It was a lot of fun, but compared to others, I feel like a cussing heathen. ;) I don't know how I feel about American Wife. Devourer of Books really liked it. I don't really like reading overtly political books about current day. I get tired of hearing and reading about those people IRL. Why would I want to read a fictionalized account - especially that potentially offensive part?

I loved the summary of your week, which inspired me to go back and catch up with all your posts!

I'm really laughing at the feral cat story - we were visiting our friends at their cottage yesterday, and their neighbors have two feral cats as pets (!) who kept sneaking out from under the porch to tease our dogs.

I enjoyed the reviews - I'm ordering Why We Hate Us for my son, who frequently blogs on this very subject :)

Wow, you've had quite a week! I'm still looking forward to "American Wife," even though it's getting mixed reviews. I've also got the Patrick Tracey "Irish Madness" book on my list of books to look at - sounds interesting. Have fun at the wedding.
