I get it that they want to publicize their books, but I'm going to be much more interested and willing to give them some of my time if they show a little willingness to do the same thing and use LT the way it's meant to be used. Many of them have blogs, so I usually interact with them that way instead. A couple of authors of mine - Brandon Sanderson and Janny Wurts - do hang around in the Green Dragon group occasionally, which is nice. Matrimony definitely interests me. I just have to decide if it's worth getting now or waiting until the TBR pile goes down a bit and trying to get it for free! I agree that there isn’t much to comment on most LT authors’ pages.
