A New Home!
2008 at 7pm Posted by Rebecca Joines Schinsky
After just a little more than a month in existence, Readerville was closed due to previously unknown trademark issues…so, here we are. Same book lady, same content, brand-spanking-new location (with very sad brand-spanking-new stat counts).
I’m irritated by this because things were really starting to roll over there. I’m also irritated because a handfull of my posts didn’t make the trip over, so I’m having to cut & paste the reviews in here (so they’re out of order, which makes me nuts). Oh well…I’m sure we’ll pick up right where we left off.
Welcome back to The Book Lady’s Blog!
Edited to Add: Thanks to King Rat, I was able to insert those pesky book reviews back on the correct date, so all is as it should be. Yippee!

That’s a bummer!
On wordpress, you can edit the date posted so that they appear “when” you want them to.
I wonder if the Kool-Aid Man is gonna come crashin’ through my wall and make me change my name
I’ve been The Kool-Aid Mom for nearly 2 years now, and it’s like my identity, you know. This has unsettled me.
Thanks, King Rat, for that tidbit. I will have to remember that for the Booger Factoids *tomorrows will NOT be gross, I swear! My stomach has finally settled down and everytime my page pops up I see those horrid creatures :-K blech!* and for Viral Video Wednesdays.
At least you were important enough for them to go after you. What a nightmare.
Alisha: I love your name and hope you get to keep it. So fun and creative!
King Rat: Thanks for the tip…I’m still learning all of the fancy WordPress tricks.
Nicole: I’m trying to think that’s the reason why, though it’s more likely that they just like to google themselves and make nice book ladies go a little bit crazy
Ugh that sucks! They must have really seen you as a threat though
added to google reader right away!
p.s. I got the Gargoyle the other day, and will start it next (I had already started a LT early reviewer book, but I”m almost done!!); can’t wait to read it!
If you ever need help on wordpress, let me know.
And I’m glad you’ve got a home, even if it’s not your original one.
I had left a comment yesterday, but it never appeared.
I wanted to tell you not to fear, your fans will follow you from site to site.
thanks, beastmomma! The comment probably got lost in all the importing/exporting craziness. I appreciate the encouragement
i followed you!
[...] been a rather eventful week for this book lady. Not only did I move to this new blog (click here to find out why), I read and reviewed The Handmaid’s Tale and Matrimony, both of which I [...]
